Our technological advancement has continued to the point where it is possible for a small number of people — or even a single person — can cause great harm.
Our emotional and moral growth, however, has not kept apace of this and as a result, there are people crying out for a halt to technological and intellectual growth.
Myself, I think the solution lies in discovering what forces are preventing the emotional and moral growth of humanity and curtailing those.
