Fear is born of irrationality and ignorance goading each other in the darkness of your mind.

Fear can be beaten by bravado and magic, even though we know that bravado and magic are simply “magic feathers”. Talismans in name only. Imaginary.

The reason these creations of will-wisp can beat fear is because fear is just as much a weightless shadow as they are. Fear — like bravado and magic — is not a physical thing.

Never mistake beating fear for beating your adversary. A real adversary, a real bullet, a real virus, is always infinitely more real than fear.

Bravado and magic will not stop it.

And you will die.

So set aside fear.

Look past fear.

Look past magic.

And live.
