I think at this point, when faced with “love the sinner hate the sin,” it’s okay to adopt that same approach regarding the person making that claim.
It’s okay to love humanity, but still hate that particular person.
Best part is, they have to just accept it! If they give you any guff, remind them that they are required to forgive you. It’s in the book!
