Review: HTML -- The Definitive Guide

HTML -- The Definitive Guide

Chuck Musciano & Bill Kennedy

Indeed it is the definitive guide for HTML 4.0. In fact, it's so definitive that it covers things that aren't even used by browsers yet. Every detail and every nuance of HTML 4.0 is discussed and, if possible, examples are shown. Not only is it readable all the way through, but it is an excellent reference book to keep handy wherever you code -- desk, bathroom, or bus. If I had to limit myself to one book on web design, this would be it. Not only does it cover all the HTML 4.0 code, but it also delves into page design and page size recommendations. Very cool, very clear and concise writing, well designed and easy to read. You can't ask for much else, without violating FCC regulations.
