Can there ever be a Heinlein book with characters who don't live life to the fullest; fighting, eating, fucking and killing as if this was their last day on Earth? Probably not, but it's still pretty inspirational. Friday's a rockin' secret agent, making life even bigger and more colorful than what is normal for a Heinlein book. It actually has a strange rhythm to it, basically "ending" about two-thirds of the way in, but eventually, it picks up and finishes just nice. Fun to read and gives the reader a bit of a chance to experience racism in the future, if they're too afraid to read about it in the present.
