Here are a couple of random essays, all pretty short. Sometimes I get on a roll and produce something out of fire and passion. Later, it sometimes seems shrill or just plain weird. I try to keep the shrill stuff out. Or I convert it into a naughty stick figure. They're dated, based loosely on when I wrote them. Very loosely, in some cases. For some, I've included a brief description, but most of the time, it's just too much work. usually, you can figure it out once you look. Many of these have been adopted from various blogs written over the course of my usual weirdness.
Sorry I'm a bit behind. You can be up-to-date by going to the top level of the Wordpress interface.

- On Being Called "Crazy" I've been called "crazy" before, as have several friends of mine. Good!
- The Answers for Which You've Been Looking may be one of the most useful essays here. I teamed up with another supervillian and we came up with the following Answers. Chances are, at least one of these Answers will help you. Or the person you send this way. That's what Public Service is all about.
- On Being an Empath means, evidently, never having to communicate with anything outside of your own personal mind. We used to call that schizophrenia. We used to apply electricity to their brains until they either stopped doing it, became vegetative, or died.
- "Checking for Browser Type..." means that we have finally created a world that is Ugly.
- An Evolution of Love describes my attempt to recapture a simplicity of love. I knew this at one time, but I'm spending my life unprogramming what I've been taught.
- Having Your Cake and Eating it, Too briefly examines a commonly-used stupidity. Of course, the phrase derives from "having" meaning "to eat", but that would have sounded really stupid way back then. Besides, anyone with half a brain would have pointed out that vomitoriums existed for a reason.
- I am a Cynic reminds me that being a "cynic" is hardly an insult sometimes. Besides, one does not have to be a cynic to the exclusion of anything else!
- My House is about the kind of house I want.
- My University Courses explains the requirements for an Associates Degree in Multiple Partner Disorder. Don't even ask about a BS...
- On Saying "No!" was born from my distaste with the trite phrase "No means no!", which essentially encourages negation without comprehension and denigrates the ability of people to learn to use language and other methods to say "No!". That's the real crime.
- "Polyamory" and Other Spears explains why I tend to avoid such terms.
- The Simple Guide to Relationships is something that I think pretty much covers the fundamentals of any functioning relationship, be it professional or personal. I'm thrilled when I receive notes from people saying "Oh, you're talking about this kind of relationship and that kind of relationship, because it reminds me that this guide just might be useful in a variety of places. And that's a good feeling. Oh, and if you feel like commenting on it, please do -- each page has a comments section at the foot.
- What You Can Do to Prevent Censorship is a very simple method of promoting freedom of expression.
- Your "Right" to Fly addresses recent warbling about people losing their civil liberties while trying to fly in a plane.
- Zie and Zir are two little bastard constructions that hardly deserve an essay, however short.
