In The Catalyst, mankind discovers that there is a missing piece to the human race when a member of an alien race crashes to Earth and claims that it belongs to a trisexual species -- of which Homo sapiens is two-thirds!
I also push this on occasion at screenwriting gigs. I think it's a neat movie about a neat idea. I think it's neat and scary to discover that there's something to which you belong that you never knew, to discover a hidden or missing part.
