Guerrilla Productions Newsletter -- June 23, 2004
Would you like to receive our somewhat-regular (well, roughly once a month) announcements via e-mail? It's a text-only list, maintained by me and I don't sell or do anything stupid with it other than the Guerrilla Productions announcements. If so, sign up here!
Greetings, Dreamers!
Welcome to the irregular newsletter from Guerrilla Productions. Sorry about this one in particular being two months after the last one. I try to keep 'em monthly, but it's been a busy and odd two months.
What's the news, what's the news:
"Innsmouth Legacy"
http://www.petting-zoo.org/Movies_Innsmouth.html
Two shoots down, one to go! Innsmouth Legacy is fast becoming our most interesting project! It's used more cast and extras than we've ever had. More props and locations, too! And the performances we're seeing from the actors and the crew is just phenomenal! This movie is going to be awesome, and there ain't no two ways about that!
Our third shoot is less than a week away and after that – it's all a matter of editing!
"The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath"

Sales are very brisk indeed! We are down to about 85 copies left of the initial print run of 1000. Once all the checks from this last order come in and clear, then, six months after completion, The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath will have paid for all of its capital costs. This is fabulous news!
But wait – there's more!
Guerrilla Productions is proud as punch to have "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath" chosen by Lurker Films as part of their "H. P. Lovecraft Collection." The new DVD will feature fully remastered audio, plus even more bonus features than the preliminary print enjoyed. I think Andrew's planning on putting several other shorts on the DVD, plus a couple of other interesting things. It's going to be a very attractive package and I'm pretty sure he plans on debuting the Collection at October's H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival. We'll keep you posted on that one, because this collection (not just our movie, but the others) looks really, really great!
"ReCreation"
http://www.petting-zoo.org/Movies_ReCreation.html
There's not much on this movie yet, because we just started it. The script and storyboards are comnpleted. This afternoon, I met with the other two filmmakers and started plotting our nefariousness. And you get to benefit!
"ReCreation" is a short-lived battle of wills between two men, each suffering the same loss in their own way. Seems ordinary enough, right? Ah, of course it contains a peculiar supernatural component – I'd hate to disappoint you!
Chances are, the next time you hear about it, it'll all be done. In case you're in the PDX area and are a mid-30's to 40's male and interested in auditioning for it, just drop me an e-mail.
Okay, enough news, I gotta get back to doing Unspeakable Things.
Have fun, dream vividly, and wake up wondering if you're still asleep!
Cheers,
Edward
