Greetings, Dreamers!
Welcome back to the irregular newsletter for "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath"!
It's been too long before hearing from us after our debut! Sorry about the delay. It's actually been a little crazy around these parts since then (no big surprise!).
As nervous as we were, "The Dream-Quest of Kadath" played fabulously at the H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival! Our first night was Friday in one of the upper theaters and it was p-a-c-k-e-d. People were standing along the edges! Saturday afternoon's 2pm matinee was in the lower, much-larger theater. It was quite full, although there might have been a few seats up in the really-just-here-to-neck seats. Sunday night, even the 9:45pm show was about 2/3 capacity. Woo!
I was surprised to find that there wasn't a 9ish pm showing Saturday night, but it turns out one hadn't been scheduled, so if I misled anyone into showing up for that and they missed it, sorry!
The release party Saturday afternoon was really lots of fun and all sorts of people finally got to meet all sorts of people they had never met before. It was really neat! Someday, we'll get pictures up on the website.
Late night Friday and Saturday were Cyoakha's concerts. They were quite fun, especially Saturday's, when it became a musical improv sort of thing, where Cyoakha was banging out lyrics and rhymes based on her mishearing suggestions from the audience. We were laughing.

For those of you in Eugene, we'll have a few copies of the movie on DVD-R for sale at the Witches Ball October 25 at Wow Hall. The concert features lots of neat music including Cyoakha Grace O'Manion.
