Newsletter -- September 30, 2003

Greetings, Dreamers!

Welcome back to the irregular newsletter for "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath"!

Honestly, this WILL be a short note. I just handed the finished DVD of our movie over to the H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival Chairman. We. Are. Done. October 1, 2001 to September 30, 2003.

I cannot begin to tell you how amazing this is. Despite the recent loss of 320G of Development files, we were able to complete the movie, all the audio, and a neat bit of packaging in time for the H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival.

October 9-12, 2003. The H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival.

Be there!

Keep an eye on the schedule for our movie, as well as all the other awesome movies, things, and movies about things at the film festival. Come for the movies, stay for Cyoakha's concert at the end of the shows. You will be stunned at how cool this weekend will be. I know I will be. Or maybe that's just lack of sleep.

For all of you who helped, thank you, thank you, thank you! For all of you who wanted to, but couldn't think of anything to do, I have a special request: Tell everyone you know about our movie and about the film festival. Pack 'em in if you know anyone in Portland Oregon. Bring your friends and families and total strangers you've been dying to ask out. Here's a line, free: "Hey, a guy I know is premiering his movie tonight, and there's a concert afterwards by the composer of the soundtrack. Wanna come along?" See, that was easy!

Send 'em to the film festival website. Send 'em to the Dream-Quest website. If you live out of town, plan carpools and a big group outing. Make a whole Saturday out of it!

Speaking of Saturday, the release party will be then (October 11). If you are on the cast or crew (check the website, which is accurate except for a few of the latest musicians) and you haven't RSVP'd, please do -- we gotta' plan the nosh!

Did I beg you to come to the film festival yet? Please do!

I may not send out another newsletter until afterwards because of some volunteer work I'll be doing and other getting-ready things, but I hope to see every one of you there!

Over and out!

Have fun! Dream! Live!

Cheers,

Edward
