Good morning!
I've posted the trailer for Dream-Quest.
Unfortunately, unless I can find an AVI-to-MPG converter, I'm afraid that it's going to be 27 MB for a little while, AND only playable on machines that can play AVI files (er, Windows boxes).
I sure would appreciate if anyone HAS an AVI-to-MPG converter that they would let me know, or better yet, do the conversion, post it to a site from whence I can download it, and then send me the URL (because my mailbox blows up on attachments larger than 5MB).
Next step is finishing and posting the shooting script. Then we schedule auditions (so you voice people, this is where you do voices). Then we assign voices and record 'em (naturally, the recording will span many days and be subject to the availablity of the voices). Then we clean up all the audio. Then I start putting all the images together with the voices...
Somewhere in there, I'm going on a break, right around November 20th, so from November 20th until December 15th or so, I'll be gone. I'll REMOVE the trailer from the website during that period (unless I hook up with a much smaller version), because its presence makes my site close to its limit, thus prone to shut-down and I don't want it shut down.
If anyone can host a 27MB file, please let me know. If so, then I can keep the trailer online longer.
I have to say that so far, this is a most exciting project and I'm thrilled to see so many people wanting to be involved. yay!
